During the warmer months of June, July, August and September the daily temperatures normally reach an average top of 29ºC, (85ºF). May and October are a little cooler with the average high temperature of 23ºC (74ºF). January is normally the coldest month with an average high temperature of 14ºC (57ºF) and average low temperature of 6ºC (41ºF).

A.| Travel by Car
Corfu is directly accessible by car ferry from Italy on a daily basis, e.g. from Brindisi and Bari (travel time approx. 9 hours or by catamaran 3 hours) or from Ancona (c. 18 hours) or from Venice (c. 22 hours).

B.| Air travel
Corfu is accessible from most European cities either directly (Amsterdam, London, Frankfurt, Brussels, Berlin, Munich and Basel by regular or charter flights) or via Athens (2 Olympic Airways flights and 2 Aegean flights daily

C.| By coach from Athens
There is a regular coach service (distance 530 km, approx. 8 hours travel time, including two channel crossings by car ferry). The Central Coach Station (YPERASTIKA - KIFISSOS) is accessible from Athens Airport either by taxi (c. 30 Euros) or by shuttle to Athens and then by taxi.

D.| Car ferry from Patras
A car ferry leaves Patras (214 km west of Athens) at 22.00 hours and arrives to Corfu at 07.00 hours
